The „Montage & Stahlbau Standke GmbH“ is a long-established steel-construction company in Chemnitz that can look back on a tradition of more than 100 years. Our staff currently consists of twenty employees and six trainees.
The long-term experience of our company is the best basis for designing, manufacturing and erecting steel constructions of high quality.
The company-owned planning office is highly skilled in making drawings in 3-D-systems.We are qualified to carry out welding works according to the German norm (DIN) 18800-7 Class E (Great aptitude test).
History
In 1898 our steelwork-company was founded by Hans Ziller as the “Hans Ziller OHG”. In 1972 the company was socialised and
renamed to “Erection and Steelwork”. It remained under government control when it was taken over by the Concrete Building
Corporation “BMK Süd” in 1981. Since May 1990 the „Montage & Stahlbau Standke GmbH“ has been an independent company again.Because of the increasing demand for steel constructions and the growing dimensions of components a change was necessary. Since 1994 our company has therefore been located in the industrial area on Neefe-street.
In the more than 100 years of its history, the company has produced a wide range of products, such as devices for the concrete industry, special constructions and typical steelconstructions. Many examples of our field of activity can be found in Chemnitz.
Interesting examples are bridges for traffic signs, the Moritzhof, the Ermafapassage (a shopping mall) and the remodelling of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

We are member of the German Steelconstruction Association, the southern German Metal social insurance against occupational accidents and listed at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sout-West-Saxonia (Ident-Nr. 71549)
